at times when things do not go our way or when trouble comes, we think that God is being unfair to us. as humans, it is easier to put the blame on others, and the simplest one, is to put it upon God. but if we, think beyond what is happening and we just put ourselves into His hands, knowing that at the end of the day, He cares, then we'll learn a lot through all these things. they'll not be just obstacles in our life, but instead, those "troubles" will be an opportunity to grow closer to the Lord. learning to trust, is very hard for a normal human being, but God, wants us to learn to trust Him, trust that He is in control and He will never let us go. He said in Jeremiah 29:11 that, "For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." it is impossible that God would want to harm us. He gave up what is most precious to Him, for us. it would make no sense that He would want to harm us, because, we are worth what is most precious.

Pinky.Promise

promises are made from a day to day basis, but how many are broken? at times, we look back unto God and says "God, this is what you have promised me, but why hasn't this this and that been done yet?' then we start to think that God has just forgotten about us, as if we're flower along the road, but the truth is, no, God has not forgotten us, neither have He forgotten about His promises to us.

God promised Abraham that He would make Abraham a great nation, but only after 25 years, did God gave Abraham a son, Isaac. During that period of time, Abraham questioned God about his lack of child, and he even resorted to fathering a son through his wife's handmaiden.

Yet, through the ups and downs, God kept reminding Abraham of His promise to give him a child while urging him to walk faithfully with Him and believe.

When we claim one of God’s promises in the Bible, whether it is for peace of mind, courage, or provision of our needs, we place ourselves in His hands and on His schedule. As we wait, it may at times seem as if the Lord has forgotten us. But trust embraces the reality that when we stand on a promise of God, He remains faithful. The assurance is in our hearts, and the timing is in His hands. —David McCasland

it has been a long time since I last wrote something here.. in between that time, a lot happened.. Niks, Maaj, Sakina and I joined the BSP-UBD green debate... and we won the prelims, going into the finals.. then about a month later, we had the finals, which was few days ago.. we went against UBD. they were good la.. but thank God for His blessings, we won the debate.. looking back at all the achievements that I have gotten, the results that I've produced, everything, comes from Him and belongs to Him.. it is all His blessings that I feel I don't deserve at all.. but at the end of it, it makes me love Him more and more knowing that He looks at the grace that He has given us, and not like a judge who's prepared to sentence punishment unto us whenever we do something wrong.. why is He, love? why does He have to die for us? He's too loving that I'm so afraid of hurting Him, so afraid that I don't get His blessings, so afraid that I'm not living like how He wants me to.. I want to surrender everything into His hands, because He knows the best for me, even when I don't think the same way.. with all the uncertainties, the future seems so distant... so blurry that I cant even make up the shape of it from afar.. but I trust that no one can shut a door opened by God and no one can open a door shut by Him.

God wants Christian to have a hunger for God, to be an extraordinary Christian for not just a day, but everyday... a lifetime..

at times, we think that we know best but, when we actually surrender our life to Him, there is a higher purpose... a better outcome at the end of the day

God wants to see what's in you heard and thus, He test us. He knows what we're thinking... and we can say what we think is nice to hear and things like that, but that, might not be what's in our heart... so in order to know what your heart really desires, God test us..

Gilgal

Gilgal is the place where the people of Israel was there for 40 years, during the 40 years of wilderness. There, God wants to teach them to walk by faith, and not by sight. Not to live by feeling, whether you're able to "feel" God's presence or not.

Bethel

Bethel was the place where Jacob had his vision.. the vision of ladders from heaven..

Jericho

Joshua fought the battle in Jericho and God gave him victory, the wall of Jericho fell. It is a place where God gives you great victory. it is the city of the past.

Jordan

John the Baptist saw the dove land on Jesus.

Elisha saw the anointing on Elijah and he wanted more.. Elisha did not get distracted when the people said that his master would be taken away from him that day. Elisha kept his eyes on his heart desire.

God will never ask "what do you want Me to do for you?" to casual believers. He only ask that when He sees your heart desire.

when there's an anointing upon you, God will always make a way. even obstacles part and give way. so today, lets just ask ourself.. am I ready to receive His anointing??

I guess we sometimes feel like God is there, but just not listening.. or sort perhaps.. Its like you know the line or number, is working, but yet you are unable to call into it for a whole day?? I know He is here and He will always be, but i can't seem to sense His presence. I don't sense His closure. June holidays are approaching and I think it's time for me to start anew with Him once again. I pray that this time, I wont hear "the number you dial is unreachable, please try again later. Harap maaf, nombor yang awda dial tidak dapat dihubungi, sila cuba lagi nanti." Because this time as I dial unto that number, I want to hold onto that call for as long as possible.

priorities

am i still living the life how You want me to? are You still the focus of my life? Lord, I don't want to place my priority on anyone else, but You. For I am always a priority of Yours. YDM had Boiler Room today. It is somehow a little bit similar to the one in Teenstreet last year. Praying for everything. Thanking God for what that He has done, who He is, what that He will be doing and so on. Reaching out our hands and heart to pray for others, praying for the church, the schools, the community, the country and the nations. Let us just continue to remain in prayer even if there is no events specifically for prayers =)

Luxury

Chasing, running, storing, fighting. People store up their luxuries, their wealth, on this non-lasting Earth. All sort of things that they could think of to get more wealth, more property, they would just go ahead and not think of whoever that gets hurt in the process. But is this, what life is all about?? Making enemies, storing wealth, losing health, sacrificing those that means most to you to gain something that doesn't even last. Is life as simple as this? The Bible states in Matthew 6: 20-22 that "Instead, store up your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy then, and thieves cannot break in and steal them. Your heart will always be where your treasure is. Your eyes are like a window for your body. When they are good, you have all the light you need." Is your heart in the correct place?

Earlier today, I went to the park near my house for a jog. After the jog, I laid rested facing the waterfall present there. As I look upon nature and how beautiful it is, everything just reflects back to God, how beautiful, how wonderful He is. Just like the Creator, the creation reflects His work. How detailed and careful He was when He created all His masterpiece. None of them are the same, not even close. Resting and enjoying the peace there, it somehow brings back memories from Teenstreet last year. Surrounded by His glory, in His embrace. It felt really nice, being able to just take a break off the busy schedule, reflecting on Him and just thinking about Him with all that you see. Adding onto it was the smell of the soil after the rain, the hustle of the leaves as they brush against each other, the sounds of birds chirping singing a new song and the rush of water pouring. He was, really, thinking of us when He made all these. Thinking of me. Even in the rush of the day, may each and every single one of us take a time off. A time just for Him and Him alone, nothing else.

Happy mother's day, mum =) I know its highly impossible for you to stumble upon this page, but I still would like to show my appreciation here.. From the day that I open my eyes up till now, you've showered me with nothing, but love. Nothing else in this world could compare with your love for me and here, mum, I would like to say thanks for all that you've done for me. do you trust me?

I think trust is a very heavy word. Not many people can be trusted and yet, less people who are willing to give their trust. But in everything, we know that we can trust in Him, the One who has never and will never fail us. Job 8:13-15 tells us that "Such is the destiny of all who forget God; so perishes the hope of the godless. What he trusts in is fragile; what he relies on is a spider's web. He leans on his web, but it gives way; he clings to it, but it does not hold." That's for the one who puts his trust. But what about the one who is being trusted? The Bible says in Luke 16:10 that "Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much."

Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. ~ Proverbs 3:5-6

Father's Love Letter

I found this online and I though, "Hey! It's all the love that He has for us, written, and contained in that small black book of ours. " I think this is sort of just a super summary of what He has to say to us and what He actually wants to say to us. It would be really bad if what He wanted to tell us is like 10 mins only. That's why this is just the summary. If you want to know more about His love, then, start reading the Bible! It won't come to you. You'll have to go, take the effort, and look for it.

I do not know the future. I do not know what it holds for me. I have no idea at all what it might bring. Everything is so uncertain, so unclear. But the thing that I know and I can be sure of is that, He knows the plans that He has for me. He is clear of what is happening and what is to come. He will make sure that things are the best for me, if, I am obedient.

Love, often misconstrued, misrepresented, misinterpreted, misunderstood and misused. Love is misconstrued with strong physical attraction, lust, commonness, or the attraction to an individual’s characteristics, and appealing or non-appealing qualities. The word 'love' is just thrown around everywhere to everyone, without really knowing the meaning behind it, without sincerity when saying it. Is 'love' really just as simple as that?

A pastor who came to my recent youth camp said, "It is only really 'love' if, you can replace 'love' and 'it' with your name and, be able to read the passage out loud without laughing or thinking 'yea right' "

I was going to write about counting one's blessing when this song started playing on Joy FM, and when I heard the first few lines, I thought, 'Hey, thats true. If you're gonna start counting your blessings, why not start now? why not start here?' At times, we just see past our blessings and criticize and complain for whatever that seems to be even a little flawed in our sight. Instead of looking at the dirt on the window plane, why not start looking at the meadow and field outside the window? I just need to be reminded from time to time, that each and everything comes from Him. Even little little blessings that often, doesn't seems to make any difference, without. Life just keeps going on and sometimes we just get so caught up in the busy-ness of things and miss out on the simple things that bring joy in life. Yes, indeed, time and tide waits for no man. But once the time has gone, we don't have a UNO deck to pull the 'reverse' card out, for there is, no reverse here. So, let us all slow down, and not trailing the pace of others. Move at your own pace that you may not miss out on counting the blessings that has been bestowed upon you by Him who deeply loves you.
